Prof Andrew ROSENBERG
Occupation: Paediatric Nephrologist
Organisation: Head, Department of Nephrology, Sydney Children’s Hospital
Professor Andrew Rosenberg is a paediatric nephrologist (children’s kidney specialist) caring after children with conditions such as congenital diseases of the kidneys, glomerulonephritis, nephrotic syndrome, reflux nephropathy and disturbances of body chemistry due to malfunction of the kidneys. He has a particular interest in the care of children with chronic kidney failure requiring dialysis and transplantation as well as in the diagnosis and management of hypertension in young children.
He has been a councillor of the International Paediatric Nephrology Association, president of the Australian and New Zealand Paediatric Nephrology Association and a member of the Scientific Program Committee of the International Paediatric Nephrology Association. He has been an invited lecturer in many countries; in the Asian region he has particular links to China and Vietnam. His research interests include ways to improve poor growth in children with chronic kidney disease, prevention of heart disease in young adults with a history of chronic kidney disease in childhood, and identification of the causes of, and prevention of, congenital anomalies of the kidneys and urinary tract. The latter are responsible for half of the cases of kidney failure in childhood.
Professor Rosenberg has published widely in the field of paediatric nephrology and is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians as well as a conjoint professor at the University of NSW.
“I have been looking after babies and children with illnesses of the kidney for many years. Although there have been many advances and improvements in our ability to look after these children over this period the fact remains that the diagnosis of a serious kidney disease can be devastating both for the child and the family. Funding for research and for improvement”.

“This charity is all about giving kids, teenagers and adults access to better treatments and new therapies to make their life a better place. The idea is to make sure that as at, an early age as possible, young kids will get the best medical programs to fight against a malformation that is affecting too many of us worldwide.” Stephane Etienne

We’re not just another organization set up to encourage individuals and corporations to only donate, but to become part of our quest, and help us make a real difference by bringing solutions quickly to where the need is.
WorldRiderZ will take on a very long journey to establish a ‘Global Renal Network’ which will allow doctors from various countries to communicate with each other via a custom built, interactive platform. In this way, when a Renal & Urology unit from a hospital progresses in their research, that progress can then be instantaneously shared amongst many other hospitals in many countries worldwide.
Our goal is to actively help by funding research, building and continually updating an efficient and operating worldwide Global Renal Network (GRN). To find newer and more efficient treatments against Chronic Kidney Disease and eventually in the future, find a cure.
This malformation has been affecting millions of babies, teenagers and adults for far too long.
Please help us in supporting our actions, and help us in raising enough funds to support all the Doctors, Researchers and Teams working on these new programs to vastly improve this dire situation.
Please donate now.
What is the Global Renal Network (GRN)
The Global Renal Network is an online sharing platform that enables all visited hospitals during our journey to stay in permanent contact. Doctor’s records are stored in our database so that all their research, progress and treatment can be shared.
That way, when a country advance or find a breakthrough in treatment, that information will be shared instantaneously across 14 countries to start with (Sydney to Paris) and many more countries by the time we have finished series 2 and 3.
The Global Renal Network platform is a work in progress which should see its first version finalized soon after the completion of our journey.
